Your contribution

Under the supervision of the Director of Sales, Eastern Canada, the Sales Development Director is responsible for achieving sales and profitability results, customer service performance, customer engagement and the execution of annual sales plans in his/her territory. The territory includes Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, and the position is based in the province of Ontario.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Serve the banners/clients in the territory in accordance with the company’s philosophy, communication plans, compliance with operations and administrative policies and other marketing/operational initiatives to support the territory’s sales growth;
  • Establish strong business relationships with the banners and develop business reviews based on their distinctive needs in order to adapt to each market in its territory and offer a personalized strategy;
  • Manage the recruitment, training and coaching of customers served by the regional warehouse assigned to the territory in order to develop sales and business relationships and support their growth;
  • Analyze the territory’s activities according to products and customers in order to support sales and offer effective solutions to increase profitability;
  • Provide competitive intelligence on the territory and introduce new products suggested by marketing, promotions, initiatives and business reviews to the banners/clients and provide outstanding customer service for their implementation;
  • Provide impeccable service to customers in his territory by managing the various problems encountered (complaints, requests, etc.) as well as the follow-up of returns and defective products;
  • Implement the business plans on its territory (sales programs, etc.);
  • Manage territory issues (complaints, returns, etc.);
  • Present business reviews, promotions, etc.

Your qualifications ?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing;
  • 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in business development;
  • Knowledge of the retail auto parts market;
  • Strong communication skills and passion to convince;
  • Knowledge of distribution logistics;
  • Ability to solve sales problems;
  • Strong focus on efficiency to implement business plans;
  • Leadership focused on customer service and sales results;
  • Bilingual French-English, impeccable presentation and communication

Warehouse Clerk – Permanent position

You are a proactive team player who likes to get things done? Auto Value store in Fredericton is currently looking for two (2) delivery clerk to perform warehouse operations to meet our customers’ requirements. It would be our pleasure to welcome you to our team!

Your contribution at Groupe Del Vasto:

Under the authority of the Warehouse Supervisor, your main task and responsibilities are:

  • Place incoming and returned merchandise in the appropriate areas of the warehouse.
  • Apply safety and prevention measures prescribed by the company.
  • Must frequently lift and carry loads of up to 50 lbs. If necessary, pull loads up to 2,200 lbs. with a pallet truck.
  • As part of daily duties, must frequently bend, extend, or twist and work in a squatting position when necessary.
  • Performs all other related duties.

Job Requirements :

  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Be in good physical condition: the maximum load to be carried is 50 pounds
  • Ability to work with thoroughness and dexterity
  • Ability to maintain a good work rhythm
  • Quick to learn
  • Energetic and good team spirit

Qualifications required:

  • A high school diploma or other equivalent training (an asset).
  • Knowledge of English, both oral and written.
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics.
